Vehicles crash in Elkhart County after driver fails to yield, police say

ELKHART COUNTY, IN - Two vehicles collided at an intersection in Elkhart County on Wednesday morning, according to WBND.

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office released details of the crash that occurred at a two-way stop in the vicinity of Old C.R. 17 and C.R. 20 at around 8:42 a.m.

An investigation indicated that 37-year-old Josie Daniels was driving a 2018 Mercedes CLA and was stopped in the westbound lane of the intersection.  Authorities said Daniels failed to yield to a 2011 Ford Escape driven by a 16-year-old Goshen girl that was stopped in the southbound lane, and the vehicles crashed.

Three passengers in the Ford were treated and released at the scene after complaining of pain.
