Driver hospitalized after vehicle hits guardrail on U.S. 31

LAKEVILLE, IN - Indiana State Police said a driver was injured in a crash south of Lakeville on Friday night, according to WSBT.

The accident happened on US-31 near Lakeville at about 6:30 p.m. Authorities said the driver of a Mini-Cooper hit a guardrail near Tyler Road.

The driver was reported to be conscious and was taken to an area hospital, but no details were released on the person's condition. No other vehicles were involved.

The crash remains under investigation by ISP.
