INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Police in Indianapolis were on the scene of a fatal collision involving a motorcycle on Tuesday night.
WXIN reports the accident happened on the northwest side of the city, near the intersection of Michigan Road and 38th Street. Police officers who arrived at that location at about 9:30 p.m. determined that a motorcycle had collided with a pickup truck.
The male motorcyclist was pronounced dead. His identity was not immediately released. The man who was driving the pickup truck stayed at the scene. Investigators do not believe alcohol was a contributing factor in the incident.
