News: Multiple crashes reported on I-40 as snow impacts roads

CLINES CORNERS, NM - Multiple crashes were reported on Interstate 40 in New Mexico Thursday as winter weather made driving conditions treacherous, according to KRQE.

The accidents shut down I-40 near Clines Corners in both directions while emergency crews were clearing the scene.  There was no immediate word on any injuries.  The severe weather also caused the closure of U.S. 64 between Raton and Clayton as heavy snow, and strong winds moved through the region.

Motorists were advised to drive with caution due to the hazardous road conditions, our Albuquerque car accident attorney adds.
