INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A school bus and a sport utility vehicle were involved in a collision on the west side of Indianapolis on Tuesday morning, according to WXIN.
Police officers and paramedics responded to the scene at Country Club Road and 10th Street at around 9 a.m. An investigation indicated that the driver of the SUV crossed over the center line of the roadway prior to hitting the bus, which was from the Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township.
The driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries, while the driver of the school bus was transported to a hospital as a precaution. Two students who were on the bus were evaluated at the scene and released.
The crash remains under investigation by the Indianapolis police department.
